For winter holidaymakers, Embach is ideally located in the centre of Austria's most diverse ski association. With the Salzburg Superskicard, you can enjoy 89 ski resorts with over 2,800 kilometres of slopes.

There is a ski lift in the village, which is only 200 metres away from the Alpen Apartments Embach. You could almost describe this location as ski-in/ski-out. In January (from 7 January) and March, you can use the Hornlift free of charge. The nearest ski area in Rauris is only an 11-minute drive away, and in 25 minutes you can reach the Schmittenhöhe ski area in Zell am See.
